The Chairman of the seminar, The Very Rev. Dr Yaw Frimpong-Manso in his delivery said "Cleanliness is next to Godliness...Man must make sure that our limited resources be kept well".
 
 
Ms Sakeena Bonsu at the seminar disclosed that the status of sanitation in Ghana is very poor and that Ghanaians should help combat the situation. She said in her delivery that "There should be designated boxes at every bus stop to pick up rubbish"

WELCOME TO EVERGREEN CLUB OF GHANA - ECOG

The Evergreen Club of Ghana is an indigenous environmental NGO that embraces all aspect of environmental protection and sustainable development.

ECOG has now grown into a national voluntary, non-profit making organization with major aim at contributing to the national Afforestation program, creating awareness and educating the public on the need to protect our environment.The youth and children are our major target hence the introduction of the Club in schools and neighborhoods for a variety of environmental activities including tree planting, education seminars/ workshops and eco-study tours.

  To create awareness and educate the public on the need to protect the environment, and to engage them in practical activities to sustainable development.
 

OUR VISION

  Ecog envisages a world where majority of the people are aware of the need to protect the environment for survival. These people are ready to take on the challenge of protecting it both for the present and the future generations.
